With a longer waterline and larger sail area than the 12in DRAGONFLY the 16in KINGFISHER is a faster and more powerful yacht with fantastic sailing performance.
Still retaining the simple but beautiful lines of a traditional English pond yacht, her hull is hand carved from a light weight African hard wood. As ballast she sports a stainless steel fin designed to keep the center of gravity as low as possible and give good straight line stability. The 16in KINGFISHER is fitted with high performance Dacron sails as standard, hand painted pinstripe and a brass name plate. All yachts come with a hardwood display stand. Made in England.
Upon request the KINGFISHER can be fitted with traditional Cambric Cotton sails
